Forbes Magazine just released their annual list of musicians who made the most money in 2013.  While Madonna and Lady Gaga finished on top (probably in more ways than one), several classic rock icons made the Top 25.

It was a good year for Bon Jovi.  Despite their split with long time guitar player Richie Sambora, Jon and the rest of the band managed to rake in $79 million in album and ticket sales.

Bon Jovi's New Jersey neighbor Bruce Springsteen came in at #6.  The Boss collected a cool $62 million this year, averaging nearly a million dollars a night on his latest tour.  With a new album in the works, 2014 looks to be an even bigger year for Springsteen.

Elton John also cracked the Top 10.  His $54 million take was good enough for the 9th spot on this year's list.  Other classic legends who did big business this year include:  Paul McCartney who pocketed a paltry $47 million, making him the 13th highest paid musician.  Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters continued to pack arenas and stadiums all over the world, finishing in 16th place with $44 million.

And while 2013 marked the Rolling Stones' 50th anniversary, they had an "off year" at the bank.  That is, if you consider $39 million a bad year.  If rumors of a 2014 stadium tour come to fruition, they could jump from #25 all the way up to #1 on next year's list.
