The Sturgis Rally Is Coming!

Soon, the rumble of bikes rolling towards the Black Hills will be heard all across the country. Here in Montana, we live in some prime riding country and lots of people spend days, and dollars, in the area as they take little detour rides on the way to Sturgis. Many people will be staying at the Buffalo Chip Campground, just outside of Sturgis.

The Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground in Sturgis is celebrating their 30th Anniversary in 2011. This year's Sturgis Rally begins on August 5th, and hundreds of thousands of bikers will descend on the Black Hills. No trip to the rally is complete without a visit to the Chip.The entertainment at the Buffalo Chip during rally week is also legendary. This year some of the acts you'll see on stage include Edgar Winter, Alice Cooper, Styx, Poison, Gregg Allman, Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood, and Leon Russell. John Fogerty has been added to the lineup for Thursday August 11th. Also on that night is a performance from actor Jeff Bridges and Friends. We've just learned that one of the "friends" who will be singing with Jeff is the beautiful Stevie Nicks! I'll be there for that one. Find out more about this year's entertainment.
