Billings Police were dispatched at 11:58 PM yesterday, July 28th to an area hospital after a report of a shooting victim being brought in.

On arrival, BPD learned the victim was an 11-year-old female. She was sleeping inside of a residence in the 600 Block of South 31st, when a bullet was fired through the back wall of the house, striking her in the shoulder.

BPD Officers were then dispatched again at 3:30 AM today for a report of another shooting, this time the suspect fired several rounds at the front of the house.

The suspect was described as a juvenile white male, possibly wearing a ballistic vest, and using a firearm with a green laser.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
