For more than a quarter of a century, the Bridge School Benefit Concert spearheaded by Neil Young has been a highlight of the San Francisco Bay Area’s concert calendar — but this year, you’ll be able to join in the fun even if you don’t happen to live in the area.

As reported by Antiquiet, concert organizers are set to broadcast this year’s lineup live on the internet. It’ll cost you $10 to watch, but as the report points out, this is all for charity — and besides, that’s a pretty low price to watch acoustic live sets from Guns N’ Roses, Lucinda Williams, Jack White and others (including, of course, a set from Young and Crazy Horse).

It’s all set to go down on Saturday (Oct. 20), with the festivities scheduled to begin at 4PM PST. Plans call for the show to end around midnight on the West Coast, which means you’ll be paying a different kind of price in the morning if you happen to be watching on Eastern Standard Time, but no matter how you look at it, this is a smart (and very cool) application of technology in service of some fine music and a good cause. Check out the webcast announcement below, and mark your calendars for Saturday.
