Adopt an Owl and Help the Billings Mustangs Win the Pioneer League Championship

Tonight, the Billings Mustangs kick the Pioneer League Championship Series against the Orem Owlz at Dehler Park.  The best of three series will head back to Orem, Utah for games 2 and 3, if necessary.

Sure, you could buy tickets and root on the Mustangs in person.  However, if you really want to make a difference, here's how to help our team. Adopt an Owl.  The Orem Owlz will be staying at the Crown Plaza Hotel tonight.  The Hawk studios are up on the 23rd floor and I just ran into 5 players in the elevator a few minutes ago.

Tonight, after the game, stop by the Crowne Plaza and offer to get some of the Owlz drunk.  Many of them recently turned 21 and they play in Utah.  They will definitely be in the mood to party.  If each Mustangs fan adopts one Owlz player and volunteers to get them really drunk tonight, we might be able to affect their play in Game 2.

Specifically, we will want to heavily intoxicate their pitching staff.  Arjenis Fernandez just turned 21 in July.  He has won 9 games this year.  Let's make sure he doesn't win his tenth.  Catcher Wade Wass is batting .341 with 7 home runs.  We'll want to get him really wasted.

If we all pull together and do our part, we can help bring the Pioneer League Championship trophy to Billings.  Adopt a thirsty owl and get them hammered tonight.
