And now for today's sign that the apocalypse is certainly near.  Fortune Magazine recently ranked the "World's Greatest Leaders", listing U2 lead singer Bono ahead of the Dalai Lama.

Bono finished #8 on Fortune's list, one spot in front of the Buddhist human rights leader.  They join a distinguished group of legendary leaders, including Pope Francis, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former President Bill Clinton, and business mogul Warren Buffet.

Certainly, Bono is a rock icon.  And his humanitarian work on behalf of AIDS patients in Africa is extraordinary.  But to suggest that Bono is a "world leader", let alone one of the world's most important leaders, is outlandish.  Just because you've met the Pope, that doesn't put you in his league.
