The new single from the long-awaited new Rush album, ‘Clockwork Angels,’ is here, and let us tell you… it rocks! The song, titled Headlong Flight,’ clips along at a brisk pace nearly from start to end. Rush haven’t sounded this emphatic and dynamic in a long while.

Finally, some good news in the world of classic rock. Five guitars belonging to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were recovered Tuesday (April 17). The instruments had been reported missing since Friday, when they were taken from the Culver City, Calif. soundstage where the band was rehearsing for its upcoming tour, which begins Wednesday night in Broomfield, Colo.

Given the famous history between Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth, few could have expected Van Halen‘s North American tour to last for even the originally planned four months when it was announced back in January.
