Get ready, Billings. National Cheese Lovers Day is coming up January 20th and if you love cheese as much as I do, then you'll want to be prepared.

I actually consider cheese to be one of the major food groups all by itself -- right next to bacon of course.

My family and I use cheese in so many recipes. My wife makes a killer homemade chili that we top with a nice Colby Jack cheese and it sends the taste buds into a frenzy.

Cheese is a natural additive to most of the dishes in our house. We use it in some cases where it's not even intended to be used. To us, it's just one of those ingredients that adds so much to many things. I honestly don't think I could live without it.

As a matter of fact when January 20th arrives, I think I will give cheese its due honor with my wife's Thompson Tater Tot Cheese Casserole. Add a nice layer of sour cream and I am in heaven. Food. I love it. To me, this is just as good as Christmas. Treating my taste buds to some extra tasty presents.
