Pam Hill was one the Hawk rockers who won tickets for the "Nights of the Living Dreads" concert with Rob Zomie and Korn in Butte last night.  She also got to go backstage and meet Rob Zomie before the show.  She was kind enough to send us a review.

" Rob Zombie was freaking awesome - he was on til 9:30 - I didn't stay for much of Korn. Rob Zombie was so nice to me and my Grandson, Noah. He signed a special autograph for him and the lead and bass players gave him guitar picks and high fives.

His performance was very theatrical, hard-driving, he danced all over the place & changed costumes several times. His band kicked ass! The crowd loved him! My first time seeing him - and thanks to you guys @ the Hawk - a memorable experience for myself and my 7 year old Grandson (he just went to M&G, his Mom went to concert, we loved it!)

What a crappy venue! You had to spend an hour in the beer/drink line and there was beer spilled everywhere on the painted concrete steps and walkways. This one chick face-planted right in front of us. Lots of really drunk people (well. it is Butte) and no ushers or anyone controlling the crowd on a whole. The mosh pit looked pretty wild and Rob Zombie skipped an entire verse of a song to point out and have 2 guys ejected, so he cares about the safety of his fans. He was really cool - he had eyeglasses on and when my grandson didn't want to get a picture with him, Rob joked "Nobody wants to get their picture with me." Pretty funny now that I think of it - Noah was not affected by his celebrity!"

Thanks for the awesome concert review Pam.  We're glad you had a good time at the show.  As for your grandson, rocker kids are the best children.  The family that rocks together...stays together.
