Disabled Guitarist Releases the Best ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Ever

I don't know about you, but I've been growing tired of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.  Don't get me wrong, it has helped raised millions of dollars for a great cause.  But like anything that gets over hyped, I have seen enough videos of people dumping ice water on their heads to last a lifetime.  Until I saw this.  It's, by far, the best ice bucket challenge I have seen.

Jason Becker is a guitarist who once shredded in David Lee Roth's band.  Sadly, Jason was diagnosed with ALS in the 90's and eventually lost his ability to play guitar.  But he didn't let that stop him.  Despite being wheelchair bound, Jason now uses a special computer to speak and write music.  In fact, he has since released several albums, including his latest project "Jason Becker's Not Dead Yet 3".

Needless to say, ALS is a cause that hits close to home for Jason.  He recently released his own ice bucket challenge.  He then called out his former bandmate David Lee Roth, along with Eddie Van Halen and John Mayer. Yesterday, Mayer answered the challenge and released his ice bucket video.  Diamond Dave and Eddie have yet to respond, but hopefully they will.
