Credits for that mind-blowing, 38-minute long mysterious jam session that popped up on Neil Young‘s website Saturday morning (Jan. 28) have been posted on the site. The track is titled ‘Horse Back’ and, as expected, it was the work of Young and his longtime backing band, Crazy Horse.
Clapping to the beat and triumphantly raising his microphone above his head, My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way channeled his inner Freddie Mercury while the band played the Reading Festival set in England last weekend.
Adding to the Queen connection was a guest appearance by the legendary British band’s own Brian May, who joined My Chem onstage to play guitar on signature songs by both groups.
What do you get when you take members of Rush, Tool, Primus and The Police, and put them in a studio together? You get a tune called Count Drumula, the result of a jam session with Neil Peart, Danny Carey, Les Claypool and Stewart Copeland.
