Yeah, YOU! The one looking all excited for free things. Remember the other day when Mark shared an article, featuring a BIG barrel full of CDs? Well, as it turns out, one-half of the Breakfast Flakes was hoarding even MORE CDs. Though, these CDs... are quite unique!

30 Years Of Audio In One Door

So, today, in between my scatter-brained thoughts, I made my way into the Cat Country 102.9 studios... with a big box... and started to build YOUR "Wilson's Wares" box.

Inside this door were hundreds of CDs, in their own "CD Cartridge". (When Radio went from Tape Carts, CD Carts replaced them. Why carts? Rapid loading and unloading of CDs. Essentially a shell for the disk, that it stays inside of.)

Each disk is what we call a "Hit Disk", and these were sent to Radio Stations across the US with a mix of the latest music.

As such, this particular hit disk included music for CHR, AC, and Country radio formats. You'll likely recognize some artists on the disk above... but just imagine. We have hundreds MORE, all neatly in a box, ready for ONE LUCKY WINNER.
