A Song That Almost Didn’t Make The LP!

When The Outlaws were recording their now famous Ghost Riders In The Sky album the title cut almost didn't make the album. The guys needed another song and were told that it needed to be a hook for the album something that people could relate to. So they came up with the Stan Jones song and made it their own. They put a twist on it that only The Outlaws could have done. So thats how a last minute song got put on the album and became a major hit!  Ain't Life Grand!!
