This event is such a good time and a great fundraiser for the Shepherd Lions Club. Gates open at 11 am for spectators and demolition action starts a noon, rain or shine. I actually think the wet conditions this weekend will make for a better derby experience.
The forecast for this weekend is kind of dismal. Which means it's great weather to catch a movie. With the MINT film festival happening, you have a lot more options than your usual run-of-the-mill fluff that is showing at the multiplex.
Billings area pumpkin patches are now open. There seems to be fewer and fewer around since Sartorie Farms and J & K Farms (my favorite!) have both closed in recent years. Here are the three remaining pumpkin patches that I'm aware of.
