Laurel entertains over 30,000 people for the 4th of July events. Most come for the parade, gather in Thomson Park, and stay the day, waiting for the fireworks at dusk.
A Pancake Breakfast at 6:00am to 11:00 am at Fireman’s Park (Main St and 1st Ave) sponsored by the Laurel Jaycees. $6 adult / $4 children 12 & under / 6 and under FREE.  At 7:00 am, the Chief Joseph Run begins and ends at about 9:00. Last year we had 350 runners. The Kiddies Parade begins at 10:00 at Western Security Bank and ends at Firefighter’s Memorial. No Registration required. The Grand Parade is at 11:00 am.  The Food and Craft Fair begins at 9:00am and ends at 9:00 pm so people can shop and purchase food all day long. The Fireworks begin as soon as it is dark. Laurel has the largest fireworks display in Montana.

Celebrate Freedom is a fun, family event in Billings to celebrate the 4th of July!Castle Rock Park will be open starting at 5pm. Parking is free, so join us for dinner and lots of great activities for the whole family. We'll have inflatables for kids, games for everyone, temporary tattoos, and live entertainment. Snacks and food are available for a minimal cost, with water provided throughout the park (bring a water bottle). Fireworks are at so bring your own blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the show!
