Garbage Truck Catches Fire on Rimrock Road

I tried to get home yesterday when I ran into this.  A Billings garbage truck was taking a load from Rocky Mountain College when the materials inside caught fire, and then there was an explosion. The garbage truck had to dump its contents on Rimrock Road. The Billings Fire Department was called out to hose down the fire. Police were called to block off 13th to 17th street west and a front end loader was called in to pick up the trash. Just another day for city and county employees.
