Duff McKagan Releases New Song With Izzy Straddlin and Jerry Cantrell
Former Guns n Roses bassist Duff McKagan released a new song yesterday, featuring a reunion with his former band mate Izzy Stradlin and Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell. 'How To Be a Man' is the title track from McKagan's new EP, which is due out on the 12th.
The GnR and Velvet Revolver star will also be releasing a companion book titled 'How To Be a Man (And Other Illusions)', the follow up to his 2011 memoir 'It's So Easy (And Other Lies)'. The book features stories from McKagan's legendary career along with tips and advice for men striving to improve themselves.
The three song EP will also include 'Kill The Internet' and 'Punker', a throwback to Duff's punk rock roots in Seattle. All three tracks were co-written with Stradlin and Cantrell and feature Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga.
