For the most part, I enjoy supporting local businesses as much as I possibly can, and I always want to make sure that people in the area know how much I enjoy the business by leaving a review on Google. But, I don't think I've ever left a negative review for a local business since they generally have better customer service to me.

However, some folks have left terrible reviews of local businesses, and they have a valid gripe most of the time. Food taking too long to arrive, a rude worker behind the counter, all pretty normal reasons to give a bad review. But, that's not what I'm interested in. I scoured local business reviews on Google and found some of the funniest one-star reviews I've ever read. Let's take a look at five of them.

First of all, when you "dunk on someone," isn't that basketball, not football? Also, who let this guy in? This review just threw me for such a loop that I had to double back and check it again. I have so many other questions that will never be answered.

Goodness, I sure hope Hannah is okay. This is a review that really needs more information. I think it's funnier to guess that this person got stood up by this Hannah person, but it's more likely that Hannah just works there. Either way, there's no reason to give the Babcock a one-star review because you couldn't find someone. That's what makes it funny.

Montana Brewing Company

I beg your pardon, sir, but isn't the Montana Brewing Company a bar? So that means they serve bar food, right? Not only do they serve bar food, as a bar should, but it's better than most of the bar food in the city in my opinion. Perhaps that's what he meant by "glorified" bar food since it's better than regular bar food. But, that should be a five-star review instead of a one-star review.

I don't think this one needs an explanation. This fellow either just judged a book by its cover or made this review as a joke. And I'll never know which. Oh well, it's likely better off not knowing. You should check out the Heritage Center though, it is chock-full of good information.

Finally, we have potentially the funniest and dumbest review of them all. I sure do hope that this is a joke. Anyone with common sense knows that even touching the animals at YNP is not a smart idea. The reason why you don't get close should be simple enough; here's an example of what might happen to you if you don't heed this warning.

I hope these reviews got a chuckle out of you. If you ever find yourself down in the dumps, just think of the people who wrote these reviews and laugh. Unless you wrote them. I don't know what to tell you, then.
