About St. Vincent de Paul
Since 2020, St. Vincent de Paul has provided meals for those experiencing homelessness and for anyone experiencing food insecurity. Total meals provided will approach 100,000 by year-end 2022.
“Our Thanksgiving meal will be possible thanks to the generous support of people and businesses in our community and the enormous help from our volunteers who roll up their sleeves especially during the holidays when so many are hungry and alone”, remarked Jeanine Holt-Seavy, Executive Director.
Holt-Seavy also stated, “This marks the second year in a row that St. Vincent de Paul has provided a Thanksgiving meal to hungry people and families. We provide meals to everyone no matter their faith, age, background, or personal challenges. With more people becoming homeless for the first time, and many more unable to put food on their tables, more are expected to come for Thanksgiving this year. Both our volunteers and staff will be working many hours to prepare a Thanksgiving meal.”
No reservations are required for meals. Support services and meals offered at St. Vincent de Paul come at no cost and without strings attached.
