55,000 plus people are here for the big SHOT Show in Las Vegas, and we are already ready running into some great Montanans.

Remember how I was telling you about CIA vets, FBI vets, and other great Montana patriots you run into down here at the SHOT Show? I already ran into those very same guys this morning- the first day of the SHOT Show.

If you see the hat in the photo above highlighting the new Combat Tactics Training range on the XOverland Ranch in Three Forks, Montana- that's those guys! Think about a shooting course that also includes a combat driving course and more...that's what they've put together. (Tune in later in the week when they join us on the radio from the SHOT Show.)

The other photos include a couple great guys from Billings who are down here at the SHOT Show- including Peter Johnson with Archway Defense. If you see the Tatanka Cigars in the photo- I had to hook up the boys at Arms Room Radio with a couple stogies. And the Tatankas are some of my favorites.

We also got an incredible scene setter from Scott Hogenson. He is the man making everything happen down here in the Media Zone at the SHOT Show.

How BIG is the SHOT Show? (SHOT stands for shooting, hunting, outdoor, and tactical)

I told Scott that for comparison the massive Scheels in Billings with the indoor ferris wheel is about 220,000 square feet (if I'm not mistaken).

Scott Hogenson: "SHOT Show's not quite four times as big as that is- about 800,000 square feet. And walking every aisle for every exhibit- first of all, there are not enough hours in a day for that. No, not enough hours in the week to tell you the truth, but it's about 1314, miles, just walking up and down the aisles and all that."

Full audio from day one of our coverage is below.

Big thanks to our sponsors for making this coverage possible: Tatanka Cigars, DaHonu Life Kava Seltzer, Al's Bootery in Billings (I wore my Al's Bootery boots down here!)
