Right now there is an astronaut aboard the International Space Station who has been there for 288 days. Her name is Christina Koch, she's 40 years old and lives in Livingston, MT.

Christina just broke the record for the longest spaceflight by a woman, and she still has almost two months to go until she gets to come back home to earth. When she's all done, her trip in space is scheduled to last a total of 328 days. Dang! Almost a year.

Can you imagine having a job where you don't get to come home for a year? Sure, lots of oil and mining employees work two or three weeks on, one off.  But I can't think of any other job where you don't get to come home - at all - for nearly a year. I wonder who's watching her cats?
