Recall: Do You Have One Of These Air Fryers, Billings?
Oh boy. The favorite household appliance of Millenials has come under fire, literally, and is being recalled. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of over two million units from Cosori for their air fryers, as they could overheat... potentially causing a fire or burning you!
What causes this to happen?
According to Cosori, the closed-end crimp connectors within the air fryers can malfunction and overheat, leading to a potential fire hazard.
What models are being recalled?
All of the recalled models have "Cosori" on the front of the air fryer, and the model number is printed on the bottom side label. You can also find the model in the user manual... if you kept it.
All units are either 3.7 or 5.8 quartz and are grey... black... white... blue... or red.
Here are the affected model numbers:
These models were sold from June 2018 through December 202 at Best Buy, Target, and Home Depot locations. They were also sold online through Amazon, Adorama, Bed Bath & Beyond, Cosori Direct, eBay, Home Goods, Kohls, Lowes, Macy's, QVC, Staples, VeSync, Walmart, Wayfair, Wellbots, and Woot!.
