The lack of snow has been a bummer for many skiers and snowboarders who have been craving to get on the mountain. Luckily, there is one ski resort here to make us laugh before they open.

While I was scrolling through TikTok I came across a ski resort right here in Montana that has decided to jump on some popular trends and make some incredible videos. Showdown Montana in Neihart, Montana, has a TikTok, and I don't understand why I haven't seen more ski resorts like Big Sky ResortBridger Bowl, or other premier Montana ski resorts participate like this. Check out one of the videos below.

Showdown Montana has been using popular trends such as, "Am I The Drama?" and "Go Little Rockstar" to get folks excited about their opening day and to also make fun of themselves for postponing opening day after getting several inches of snow.

@showdownmontanaOur new opening day is Dec. 17! Pray for snow! #showdownmontana #skitok #snow #prayforsnow #skiing #snowboarding #montana

TikTok has proven to be one of the best ways to market not only to young people but to anyone who might be traveling to Montana soon. Using TikTok can help expand their brand, and Showdown Montana shows that even though their little ski area might be a decent trek to visit, but it's worth a trip.

Showdown Montana is the oldest skiing area in Montana and doesn't use machines to produce snow. Showdown is all about natural snow, and that's pretty unique. Showdown Montana's opening date is Friday, December 17th.

So do yourself a favor, check out Showdown Montana's TikTok page, and plan a trip out to their ski area. You won't regret it.
