The MVP’s of Christmas Heirlooms

See the Nativity set in this picture? My wife has had it since she was young, given to her by her grandmother. The set it banged up, missing pieces and probably has little value as far as being a collectible or anything.

The donkey is missing an ear and only little baby Jesus knows what in the world happened to the poor calf's face. Most of the wise men and a random shepherd are missing paint from their noses too, for some reason.

The music box on the manger quit working years ago. And I think there used to be a light bulb fixture of some type in the back of the barn that is no longer working either. Most people would not consider this Nativity set very valuable. But to our family, it's a treasure. Something that I'm sure we'll pass on to one of our kids at some point in life.
