This Is The Most EXPENSIVE Steak In Billings
Today, in browsing around the interwebs, I caught wind of a new steak that has landed in Billings... one that is at the level of "crazy" that only people with throw-away money can/would buy... but that means, Billings has a NEW CHAMPION for Most-Expensive Steak in the Magic City.
Chaikhana Takes The Crown
My friend Wayne on Facebook brought this to my attention... as our buddy Michael Foth just wrote about this place a few weeks back.
Wayne shared photos of the menu, and it showed their most expensive menu item...
24K Gold Tomahawk Steak
Any guess on the price of this hunk of meat? $150? $200? Nope. You can indulge with this Tomahawk Steak, coated in 24K Gold... with two different salads, fries, cheese, tea shukufon, baklava, and full service for the low price of...
$250
Ouch. But, what was the previously most expensive steak option in Billings?
Let's Look!
When I think "expensive," I think of Buffalo Block, so I started there. Buffalo Block lists their "Prime Dry-Aged Cowboy Ribeye" for $115 online. Though, as I have seen before, most people who order that also get extras. So $115 is pretty... low.
How about Texas Roadhouse? Their most expensive option is the Porterhouse T-Bone at a reasonable $34.99.
Jake's Downtown? A Char-Crusted Ribeye for $45.
Jake's West End? Who knows. They don't list pricing online. (I wonder why?)
Bull Mountain Grille? Their "Steak Challenge" at $150, for a 78 oz Rib Eye, 1 LB of Mashed Potatoes, and more.
Outback Steakhouse? Bone-In Ribeye for $35.99
3 North Bar & Grill? Filet Medallions for $38.95
The Windmill Bar 51? Ribeye Steak, 18 oz, $52
We get the point. The NEW Most-Expensive Steak in Billings, Montana is 100% Chaikhana!
