This Stunning New Gastropub In Billings Will Blow You Away
Today, as I am "off work" for my Birthday (Wahoo, 31!), I hopped in my car and went on a search for a great lunch from a food truck. Not even 5 blocks down the road from my house, I noticed a formerly empty business on Grand Avenue had new signage... and was OPEN.
The Roaring 20's With Modern Flair
Walking into this new business, which on the outside is pretty plain, immediately shocked me. Bright blue chairs at the bar, RGB lighting systems making the business glow in the day and night, and cheerful staff ready to seat you where you please.
Madhouse GastroPub also offers three menus, lunch and dinner plus a special drinks menu.
For lunch, they're serving up a nice selection of UNIQUE dishes, which I am ALL for. Like the Banh Mi, fried pork or tofu on a French roll, pickled vegetables, lettuce, herbs, yuzu tamari sauce, and a side of chips.
On the dinner menu, Spicy Tomato Grits... White Cheddar Pesto Mac (Oh, I WILL be trying this one), Veal Stroganoff, or Saffron Harissa Mussels.
When Can We Try It?
According to the owner, they are in the "pre-grand opening" stage right now, to shake off any issues in their processes. You can swing by 926 Grand Avenue Tuesday through Saturday, 11 AM to 11 PM. Their kitchen serves lunch from 11 am to 2:30 pm, followed by dinner from 5 pm to 9 pm. Plus, if you are hungry in between, they have snacks from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
