I prefer to do my grocery shopping solo. Just me and my list. Staying focused, dodging between aisle clogging groups of slowpokes, I try to get in and get out as fast as possible. Shopping with the kids just slows me down.

But sometimes I like to bring my sweet, sensitive seven-year-old with me to the store. She seems to really enjoy hanging out when it's just her and I. Our household is pretty crazy... with a special needs three-year-old, combined with her older siblings, I feel like any time I get to spend with her one-on-one is precious.

Anyway, we were at the store over the weekend. She's chatting away non-stop while I'm checking my list and tossing crap in the cart and that's when she spotted the Mystery Oreos. Normally, when we pass the Oreo end-cap, there is a 50/50 chance I'll let her talk me into getting a package. This time, I couldn't say no. "Dad, it's a mystery flavor! We HAVE to try them!" Sure, why not.

So, what do the Mystery Oreo's taste like? We each sampled a handful of the cookies and came up with these guesses:

  • Graham Cracker (specifically Cinnamon Graham Crackers)
  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch
  • Waffle Cone
  • Pumpkin Spice (not so much pumpkin, more spice)

My kid is very concerned we get the correct guess. She really thinks we're going to win the $50,000.
