Will Ferrell and Chad Smith Take On the Rolling Stones
The pseudo-feud between celebrity lookalikes Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith shows no sign of ending. In Seattle last night (Sept. 19), Smith stopped by Ferrell's Cancer for College charity event to "settle the score once and for all."
Consequence of Sound found the above video, which features Pearl Jam's Mike McCready and Duff McKagan as part of a makeshift all-star band that was dubbed "I Pissed My Pants." They performed the Rolling Stones' 'Honky Tonk Women,' with Brandi Carlile on lead vocals and Ferrell, naturally, on cowbell.
Back in May, Smith and Ferrell participated in a "drum-off" on 'The Tonight Show' in order to mockingly end a war of words that arose out of the fact that they resemble each other. The battle ended with the Chili Peppers joining in.
