With as many services offered in Billings to those in need, such as food supplement boxes, rental assistance, utility assistance and so much more, one thing I noticed is it can be quite hard for someone to do laundry if they cannot afford it. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed.

Free Laundry Tumbles Into Lockwood

Coming up on Tuesday, November 21st, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM in Lockwood... the Junior League of Billings is hosting a FREE LAUNDRY event, open to anyone who is in need of free laundry cleaning.

You'll find them at the Lockwood Laundromat, 2750 Old Hardin Road.

The Junior League of Billings has worked together with Weave Industries to fund this event for November.

Did You Know...

The Junior League of Billings has been hosting MONTHLY free laundry events in 2023. The same rules apply every time, but this is a wonderful thing to offer those who need it, especially with how expensive it really can be to do laundry (depending on the laundromat and individual pricing).

The rules are straightforward. Everyone is welcome if they are in need of laundry services. You are encouraged to judge the room, and if multiple machines are open (and you need to do more than one load), you can. But be courteous of others. Also, no preloading of the machines is allowed before the event start time.

How Do I Stay In The Know?

You can follow the Junior League of Billings on Facebook, as they are very good at posting events to their events calendar. And, another free laundry is coming up in December, so you can plan ahead!
