If, like me, you grew up rockin' in the 80's and you dig rock documentaries, you might want to check out a new film called "Inside Metal: Pioneers of LA Hard Rock and Metal", which comes out next month.

The movie explores the roots of the Los Angeles Sunset Strip Glam Rock scene in the late 70's and early 80's.  At the time, singer-songwriters and disco were in demand.  Until influential bands like Van Halen and Quiet Riot opened the floodgates for other groups to follow.

It features interviews with members of Motley Crue, Ratt, Metallica, WASP and Ted Nugent's band, just to name a few.  After a limited theatrical release, which sadly won't be showing in Montana, the film will be released on DVD, Blu Ray and Netflix late next month.
