This last Saturday at the Habitat For Humanity Restore on King Park Drive, we were welcomed over to do a remote during their Family Fun Day!

Cat Country On The Street

Now, as you know, I'm over on 103.7 The Hawk mainly... however I get asked to do these remotes on ALL our stations, and this time around, it was Cat Country's turn. After loading up the Cat Country 102.9 Kia, I cruised over to Habitat and we prepared for the big event from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Once I got the tent all popped up, we started going, and the Billings Fire Department arrived with their big surprise. We all knew they were bringing a fire truck, however, nobody realized they were bringing one of the massive ladder trucks!

Wow, that thing towered over the Restore building.

Meanwhile...

While I was busy checking out the fire truck and chatting on the radio about the event, the parents and kids were enjoying the rock wall, free lunch, face painting, cotton candy, bounce houses, and more!

Medieval Fun (And no heat stroke, thankfully)

In the middle of the food and fun, the Medieval crew was busy swinging their weapons at each other, making a ruckus.

Who Won The Wells Fargo Castle?

As you could see in the photos above, the awesome hand-built castle that was up for raffle went to Dusty Old Elk! Congratulations! Hopefully, you had somewhere to put that thing.

See you next year at Family Fun Day @ The Restore!
