If you have ever gotten hungry for a tasty, stacked-high, homemade deli sandwich in the Heights... you know your best choice was Off Main Deli. But now, the Heights has lost a business to the pull of Downtown Billings.

Movin' On Down(town)

For those who are not in the know, Off Main Deli is one of those places I would call a "best-kept secret" of Billings. When visitors come to town, they are pulled to the west end for shopping and more... and the Heights reminds me more of a "hometown" feel.

Off Main Deli was, and still is, one of those hometown businesses in my eyes... but now it'll be less of a best-kept secret.

Previously, Off Main Deli was just... off main... in the Heights.

Now, they have moved to 1139 N 27th St in Downtown Billings, just across from Intermountain Health.

Better For Business

As someone who used to frequently visit Off Main Deli when I worked closer to the Heights, I can tell you I enjoyed the food for sure. However, I had a few issues, which are now solved with the new location.

One is parking. The Heights location parking situation wasn't great. If more than 5 cars were there, you'd have a heck of a time parking.

And two, location. Once I quit working near the Metra, I haven't been back. Why? Well... between my house and the Heights location, there are plenty of great choices... so I wouldn't travel the extra distance.

But now... I'm going to have to enjoy their delicious sandwiches once more. And I can't wait.
