It was not only a busy year for Glacier, but for Yellowstone as well.  The numbers for Yellowstone National Park just came out and it shows it was the second busiest year on record.  2016 still holds the record with 4.25 million visits to the park.  This year saw a little over 4.1 million.  Another interesting statistic is that since 2008, annual visitation to Yellowstone has increased by almost 40%.  That seems surprising since in today's age we tend to think of people staying home and on their electronic devises.  It is nice to see more and more people get out.  There is a problem, though with increased traffic.  Demand for vehicles on the road and parking in Yellowstone will grow.  Park officials are looking at traffic management, a shuttle system and others types of transportation.
