I shared with you a while back how I'm trying to cut down on my Facebook time. The social media monster has turned into a playground full of opinionated keyboard bullies, who mainly argue about things. And by "things," I mean everything. I could post a picture of the sky and say something like, "It sure is smokey today," and in minutes people (my supposed friends?) will start arguing that the smoke is/isn't the President's fault and that if I don't agree, I must not love America. Ugh, it's just tooooo much.

My Facebook self-quarantine has been pretty nice, actually. I still check in, but only a few times per day, instead of 20 x per hour. I like to tell people that if it wasn't for work and keeping in touch with friends, that I would just delete my account completely. I don't know how true that is. I mean, how long would it take to download all of my Facebook pictures to a thumb drive?! Who's got the time for that?

Anyway, a co-worker told me today about something awesome on Instagram. Something that reminded me about the other social media apps that I kind of forget about. It's an Instagram account called Flipping Off Fish. That's correct. A guy posts pictures of him flipping off fish. And his captions are epic.

Fair warning... his language is a little coarse. Those easily offended or with strict NSFW rules take note.

It's pages and pages of him (and maybe a few guest submissions) flipping off fish.

Sometimes he'll flip off other creatures too, like the occasional crustacean, sea otters or this seagull.

Hilarious. It turns out the Dee Snider is also a big fan of Flipping Off Fish. In a now-disappeared Insta story that Snider shared on the Flipping Off Fish account, Dee actually sang happy birthday to the page creator.

Shameless plug: you can catch Dee's show "The House of Hair" Saturday nights at 6 on 103.7 The Hawk.
