You have to pay to play in Montana. Play outdoors, that is. The toys, the gear, the vehicles, the activities, the permits, and everything else you might need to pursue Montana's outdoor adventures can get VERY expensive.
We were shocked to learn that cleanup teams are finding "tar balls" and "tar patties" up to 15 centimeters, as well as "tar mats" as large as 3 meters this far downstream.
Some people buy a house on the golf course... what about buying the entire course? This central Montana 18-hole course is turn-key, with small town living minutes away.
With my kids all living in faraway places, it's tough to get together with them too, which I also hope to do more of later. As for now though I'm still a pretty boring guy happy with the simple things.
