We all missed having Metrapark available for concerts for almost a year. However, I think that since they’ve opened back up, they’ve really gone balls to the wall. Here’s my list of the Top 5 Best Concerts since they’ve opened. Feel free to disagree. This was kind of hard for me in some cases. :)

    Elton John

What a way to open back up Rimrock Auto Arena!! Loved it! Nothing gets me rocking like a little tune from the Piano Man himself. Congratulations to Metra for a great choice!

    Sugarland

I fell hard for this concert…literally as some of you might have seen. My bad. But before the “Fall Seen Around the World” I was rocking out to Sugarland like nobody’s business. Great sound, loved the tv screens they had up and of course Jennifer Nettles has a set of ….pipes (among other things) on her like you couldn’t imagine.

    Motley Crüe

About time one of our rock n roll brothers showed up on here right? I mean, Elton was fantastic, but it was time to really get your blood pumping. Loved Motely Crue. It could have been in part to our great seats, and the view of Tommy Lee and Nikki Six that I had, but there were too many other positives for it to just be that. Sound was awesome, they can still rock out with the best of them. However, I’m glad I wasn’t close enough to get spit on. That part was funny to watch, but just plain NASTY!

    Ronnie Dunn

Ok, don’t get mad about this one. I had to put it here. Undervalued like you couldn’t believe. Ronnie put on a fantastic performance, acoustics rocked and I heard songs I haven’t heard in years. Brought back my younger years on the ranch. I think that next time he comes around it will be a sold out show. Too bad for those of you that missed out.

    3 Days Grace

I wasn’t super happy with their opening act My Darkest Days (had my daughter there and he kept asking the ladies to show them their goods) it just wasn’t my cup of tea. Loved 3 Days Grace though. I was actually surprised with how many of their songs I knew though. And really, I needed a little grunge, rock…whatever the hell you wanna call it to finish of my concert experience thus far this year.
