A few days back, I watched TikTok endlessly and came across this brand-new revelation from Crocs.

What are Crocs?

For the unfamiliar, Crocs is the name brand of Foam Clogs. The first ones were shown to the world in 2002 at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in Florida, selling out all 200 copies.

After that wild success, Crocs continued forward, eventually going public in 2006; however, the company experienced a few financial hardships between 2007 and 2008.

By 2010, they restructured operations and continued their downward spiral.

Fast forward to 2020, during the COVID pandemic, Crocs took on a massive surge of sales, as people wanted work-from-home footwear that was comfortable and easy to wear.

So... Foam Clogs... but Cowboy Boots?

My first thought in seeing this TikTok was... no way. This has to be fake news.

However, it is REAL. Crocs really made "Limited Edition" Classic Western Boot Crocs... for the low price of $74.99. That is nearly the same price as a pair of ACTUAL cowboy boots!

For example, on BootBarn.com, you can get a pair of Roper, Old West, and Cody James boots for just a few bucks more...

Or, if you are thinking, "But they are rubber boots!" fine. Over at Wally-World, you can get a great pair of rubber boots for... $19.98. Or Cheaper!
