A true local treasure is The Burger Dive. Just look at the picture above. I don't care what you order there, it's all good.

And the fries .... Look, normally I don't eat my fries. I push them off on whatever sucker has decided to dine with me. But their garlic fries, I don't share those with anyone.

I was curious to see what Yelp had to say about The Burger Dive. I learned that you could get a free hug after referring someone to the Burger Dive. You might make a new friend with a teleporter, or you might end up with some awesome garlic dragon breath.

Used at work after lunch, that garlic dragon breath might just be the ticket to actually working and keeping people out of your office. Win-win on the breath.

Now for those five-star Yelp reviews.

    Building a Teleporter

A piece of me I feel was left behind in this dainty, hole in the wall spot otherwise better known as "The Burger Dive". The people who help make this establishment what it is can only be referred to as godsends, imo, since what they're dishing out can only be seen as "heavenly".

Their garlic parmesan fries are easily some of THE best fries I've ever had, and easily the best garlic parmesan fries by far. And the quality in meat, and care they put into making their amazing burgers are comparable to a nursing mother.

In an effort to paint a better picture of how serious I am about this place, I have been attempting to build a teleporter just so I could enjoy their food whenever my heart desires.

    Free Hugs

Wow. The Burger Dive was recommended to me by a local woman who works at the Hertz counter at the airport. I think I'm going to hug her when I see her next time.

Everything in here seems to be homemade. The meat tastes like MEAT. Imagine that! The burger was the perfect size- the size of your fist. The fries are hand cut and fried twice only to be topped with the perfect amount of Kosher salt. The onion rings at the table next to me looked fabulous but I was so stuffed after 1/2 of my fries and a basic Cheeseburger with added bacon.

    Burger + Fries + Soda + Tip = $13.

I'm from Seattle. We know Burgers. This place tops all of Seattle.

    Garlic Dragon Breath

Holy crap this is my 2nd time eating here, and I declare their Juicy Lucy is better than the original in Minneapolis.
Mind you Iove Matt's Bar but thus one is killing it. Also get the roasted garlic on it, it takes it to a whole new level.
The "SAN FRAN" garlic fries are a meal in themself, just don't plan to get frisky after eating this combo without having the most awesome garlic dragon breath.
We will be back for sure.
