Goodbye Summer!

This is a picture from Friday morning just south of Columbus.  A heavy wet snow greeted them and Red Lodge and Livingston and....Today was the first full day of Fall.  I haven't looked at the Old Farmers Almanac but people are telling me we are in for a rough winter in Montana.  This first little snow fall doesn't freak me like some people.  I have my little markers in the year.  Cold and wet on Saturday Live, wind and or snow/rain on Halloween.  Rain in the spring for High School track meets and baseball games.  For the next few days you will see references on Facebook from people reminding us how we complained about how hot is was a few weeks ago.  I say bring on the snow, I've got my fireplace to sit in front of and complain.
