Our local library in Billings is home to many local happenings, and this week, I wanted to highlight Sugar Art with Andrea Vacek.

Tomorrow, December 13th, at 6 PM in the Billings Public Library Community Room you can experience the work of Andrea Vacek, Owner and Head Decorator at Bluebird Sweets.

Vacek opened Bluebird Sweets in 2013, after a dessert contest she won at a former place of work. After that success, Vacek found the thrill of making delicious food for friends and family was the path she needed to follow.

Vacek shared,

Sugar artistry has given me a creative outlet and provided me rich opportunities to meet new people and make their events even more special. My confections continue to take me to new heights with my first television appearance on Food Network in 2021, features in Martha Stewart weddings, Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine, and TLCme.

Viewing her work all December in the Billings Public Library lobby, you can get a glimpse into the fantastic world of sugar artistry.
