Theater to Close for Renovation

The Alberta Bair Theater in Billings has closed for major repairs. According to the Billings Gazette, the latest renovation on the 87-year-old structure will begin May 6, with an expected price tag of $12.5 million to bring the building up to code.  CTA Architects came up with the design which includes expanding the restroom facilities and doubling the size of the lobby and ground floor concessions.  Plans are to reopen the theater by September of next year.
